CCS Connects
Learning Beyond Our Walls
Welcome to CCS Connects, our online learning component here at Conestoga Christian School. We are excited that you are interested in taking advantage of this method of expanding your horizons and learning in a new and different way. There are a few things that you should know before you begin.
To succeed in an online learning environment:
-
Students must be highly motivated.
-
Time must be spent each day working on the course, just as one would do with a traditional class.
-
In addition to “class time,” additional time should be set aside for homework. If anything, a distance learning class requires more of your time than a traditional class. Since you will not have a “lecture” component, much of your learning will come through reading.
