Conestoga Christian School

Student Council

Middle school and high school students at CCS have the opportunity to be involved in student council.  There are separate councils for middle school and high school.  Student council is a way for students to share their ideas and concerns with the faculty and administration. The students on the council are expected to maintain acceptable academic progress and commendable character.

The student councils plan activities for students and also may raise funds for student trips, missionary support projects, and gifts to the school to enhance the overall program of sports and academics. For example, the middle school student council has been supporting a Compassion child from Uganda for many years.

The opportunity for leadership is one of the great benefits of student government.  As students are given responsibilities and have the chance to participate in decision making, they are developing skill that can be used throughout their lives.
